The Firebug Working Group seeks to advance the open source development of the most popular web debugging tool Firebug for the benefit of the worldwide web development community.

The group consists of about 25 members and contributors, though just a handful are active coders. After it's former lead developer John J. Barton moved on in July 2011 the new main developer is Jan 'Honza' Odvarko.
