Each time the list of extensions is changed, I see a lot of unnecessary edits here, just to keep the columns even.  I suggest that we copy the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Balanced_columns_list Balanced columns list] template (and its dependencies) from Wikipedia to this wiki.  Using that would let us keep a neat looking set of columns for the list with little editing.  That template arranges the items down vertical columns, rather than across them, but that might not be important.  A different template may give precedence to horizontal layout instead.

Each time the list of extensions is changed, I see a lot of unnecessary edits here, just to keep the columns even. I suggest that we copy the Balanced columns list template (and its dependencies) from Wikipedia to this wiki. Using that would let us keep a neat looking set of columns for the list with little editing. That template arranges the items down vertical columns, rather than across them, but that might not be important. A different template may give precedence to horizontal layout instead.

If I had the time to do this now, I would. If nobody else gets around to this before I get some free time, I'll set up a sample in my own personal sandbox. --Lance E Sloan 08:30, 1 August 2011 (PDT)
